CURRENCY:
The currency in England is the British pound. International credit cards are accepted for payment in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Exchange offices and ATM's are available throughout the city and at the airport. We recommend that you change some money at the airport for immediate needs.
TIPPING:
It is customary to leave 10-15% of the bill when dining out. However, restaurants often add on a service charge (usually 12.5%), especially if you're in a large group, so it's worth checking your bill if you don't want to tip twice.

The UK power supply is single phase 220 -240 volts at 50 Hertz. Most power sockets in the UK have three pins, and most work with Type G plugs.
